Picture this: Unhealthy Computer Nerd with no Direction decides to answer the question - Does P90X Work. Ends up Ripped and Lean in only 90 Days!

Does P90X Work? The following words and pictures will answer that through my own experience. I can tell you though that if you are not willing and able to change your life then you might want to look elsewhere. But if you are ready to take action and take charge, P90X does work and you Will get in Incredible Shape!

I will reveal a brief story about where I came from before P90X and where I am now. Follow me.

I Thought it was about time I posted some more picture updates to show my current progress and to answer the question - Does P90X Work. But it wouldn't be very effective if I didn't show you where I started. The first series of pictures was me back in December 08 only 2 days after Pushing Play. I wasn't severely over weight but I was severely out of shape. I had spent the last four years previous playing World of Warcraft, staying up late, Drinking often, and just having no overall respect for my body.

The following photo's are what I had to show for 4 years of neglecting my health - Sure it was fun and I met some amazing people. But is this what I want to show my Friends and Family when I'm old? Absolutely not!

Below you will see my Before and current After Shots - Of course I am still pushing play so it only gets better, but this is how far I have come to date. So Does P90X Work? Read on and You Will See ;).

My Mage known by the name of Drackis - Once Ice then Arcane - Owner of 2v2 and Lord of Destruction =)

I felt like trash and was often sick because I was not eating healthy and spent 8-10 hours sitting at the computer daily. At this point I could hardly do 3-4 pull ups before being winded. I had tried doing Ab Ripper X before actually starting my 90 days of P90X - It was a joke. I spent more time flopping on the floor and wheezing than I did actually completing each move effectively.

Then one day it all came together - I decided it was time to take my Determination and Motivation into the Real World. It was time to do something for myself and share with others, it was time to stop dreaming and time to start living.

Success is only achieve through Doing - So Do It! P90X Does Work!

Pre-90X December 2008 Day 2

Day 4 of P90X Reloaded May 2009 - A Second Round Through! Notice the difference?

So my message is this - Stop wondering Does P90X Work and start doing! This is proof alone that P90X works and it doesn't matter when you start, it matters that You Do Start!

At the top and right of this blog you can purchase your own copy of P90X - All you need is the mindset to do it, push play every day, and finally get in shape!

P.S. If you go through this blog you will get me as your personal Coach to answer your questions and motivate you through your own journey. It's my turn to pay back to you what was given to me. Join Me!

You read the title right - I was really starting to miss P90X in my life so I did something crazy. I started P90X Round 2 {Day 1} on ChaLEAN Extreme Round 1 {Day 22}! I actually found that each program goes hand in hand when placed next to each other. Granted I am nearly 1/3 of the way through ChaLEAN, but that's OK.

I won't actually complete a full run through P90X Round 2 because I plan to start a dedicated "P90X Reloaded" phase after ChaLEAN. Setup kind of like the ChaLEAN Team Xtreme Skype Group we have going but for P90X. I'll explain more in coming months so you can get involved!

This is what my new Routine looks like without looking at the P90X Rest week. Keep in mind I am doing P90X "Classic". Also, I am spreading out my P90X workouts and ChaLEAN Extreme workouts by at least 2 hours in the day.

  • Day 1: P90X Chest and Back - Ab Ripper X - ChaLEAN Burn Circuit One
  • Day 2: P90X Plyometrics - ChaLEAN "Day Off"
  • Day 3: P90X Shoulders and Arms - Ab Ripper X - ChaLEAN Burn Circuit Two
  • Day 4: P90X Yoga X - ChaLEAN Burn Intervals - ChaLEAN Ab Burner
  • Day 5: P90X Legs and Back - Ab Ripper X - ChaLEAN Burn Circuit Three
  • Day 6: P90X Kenpo X - ChaLEAN Burn it Off - Recharge
  • Day 7: REST!

Repeat Week 2, 3, etc....

Obviously every week is not like this but I wanted to show you how well each program compliments each other when placed side by side. You never work the same muscle group two days running, this allows for ample recovery time and IMO, maximum results!

Of course, a program like this will require a lot more time and a huge Calorie requirement - I am aiming to consume at least 2800 calories upwards to 3800 a day! Keep in mind I don't have any more weight to lose after my first round of P90X. I simply want bulk muscle.

I am what you would consider a "Hard Gainer", meaning I have to work constantly to Build and Retain muscle mass. When I was 18 I designed my own resistance training diet along with the "Body Pump" routine. In 12 weeks I was able to gain upwards to 15 pounds on my 5'8 frame in solid muscle and was pressing 200 pounds (6 reps) when I weighed 165 pounds. It is my goal to return to that weight level.

I will stick as close to my new Hybrid Schedule as possible - Expect some serious Results! I know I do :).

Seriously? It's Like A Magic Mirror!

I know the headline may be a little weird and seem unrelated to my P90X journey - But it really is. By "Seriously" I mean, "Has it Seriously been 90 days already?" The time flew by and my dedication has paid off! It's like a "Magic Mirror" because it's as though I stepped through the mirror of time to reveal the results I envisioned! In just 90 days I went from out of shape computer nerd with no real outlook to a super transformed being with complete purpose and drive for life.

I will tell you more about my new purpose in a bit, but for now lets talk about P90X.

After all, I have made it 90 days with very little interruption and it shows! When I started this program I had one goal in mind - That was to complete the program and get in the best shape of my life. Isn't that your goal? Isn't that the goal of anyone attracted to such an intense program?

I will tell you this, if you are new to P90X, if you are reading this because you want to learn more, if you are just researching to find real people with real results, you found your answer! I am a real person who just 3 months ago was in terrible shape - Now, 3 months later I can honestly say I am in the best shape of my life! Here is a quick look at my past - In high school I swam competitively, I ran track, I lifted, though I never truly focused on my entire body. P90X incorporates Everything You Ever Need! From Resistance, to Kenpo Karate, to Yoga, to Focused Abs. Your whole body gets worked every week and the constant challenge and change to routine will keep everything new and fresh. When it comes to plateau P90X holds true to it's name and offers enough variety to prevent that dreaded plateau effect.

I am going to give you a quick recollection to my 3 phases and how I did in each. That way you can get an idea of what to expect and what you can do in your journey. It's really all about helping each other out - Here is part of my contribution!

Phase 1 - Started December 2008

This is where it all came together, I had P90X for a good 5 months previous to actually starting out. One day after setting my mind and deciding to go for it I just pushed play and never looked back. My first phase was really not all that planned out, My diet was lacking, I was out of shape, and I had no idea what I was doing. All that mattered to me was that I pushed play and was underway towards day 90.

My first week I went right into it as though I had been working out on a regular basis before starting. I would not recommend this approach to anyone else starting out. The best idea is to do what you can, get through the videos but don't over due it. I would even recommend that you stop each set before you reach a full burn. Look at the first week as a way to condition your body, mind, and spirit. This will make the second week much easier than mine. I was so sore I could hardly get out of a vehicle or bend over. My body hadn't been worked that much since high school 6 years ago!

My diet was also very poor in the beginning - I pretty much just pushed play one day and joined the BeachBody Coaching business without ever really planning anything out. So I just started running straight forward, that's how I tend to do things. I just decide I am going to do it and I stick it through to the end, regardless. Maybe it's my Aries tendencies?

Anyway - phase one was all about getting conditioned and learning each video. In the first Phase I would actually find it incredibly hard to complete back to back workouts - I would actually complete my main set like "Shoulders and Arms", wait a couple hours, then I would do Ab Ripper X while flopping around on the floor like a dying fish on a boat deck. It was tough! Believe me though, it does get easier!

Near the end of my first 30 days I began to see some serious results - Only 30 days into the program I was losing inches, getting ripped, but even more than the visible results; I felt better than I had in the last 4 years and that was enough for me - I was pumped for phase two!

Phase 2 - Started January 2009

After my first recovery week I was ready to go for phase two. I had taken pictures and noticed some serious results - But more so I felt better than I had in years! I knew that P90X was working, I knew that it was true to it's word. You see I'm a sucker for intense physical work. At this point I looked back at my last several years - I had let myself go completely, I lost total focus on my fitness and well being, Heck I lost total direction of my life. I don't regret anything but I do wonder how I let myself loose focus for so long. After just 30 days and just into my second phase I was feeling incredible - I had a new lease on life and I became so much stronger than my first phase. My chin up numbers began to rise, as did my push ups.

It was in phase two that I really began to focus on diet and nutrition. I made sure to include large amounts of protein throughout my day - Usually 140-160grams spread out. I began to use Creatine to help my muscle energy stores through the resistance training. Everything started to come together - Though phase 2 is similar to the first you mix it up with a couple different videos which keeps your body guessing. Though I was never sore as the first week in the program I was always a little sore after every exercise - I love that feeling because it's a feeling of accomplishment, that you did something good, that your pushing your body and achieving results.

The first week was practically debilitating, but after that it was cake. As phase 2 neared the end and I entered into my second recovery week, the same as the first, I began to really notice the visible results. My arms were growing, my shoulders and chest were becoming cut, veins were popping out, etc. It was incredible to see these results - Especially with the fact that I only had 10 and 15 lb weights at the time ( I would combine 10lb and 15lb in each hand to achieve 25lbs in curls and various other workouts. Not recommended!). Some moves were becoming rather easy and I was progressing into the 12-15 rep range which is more toning than mass building.

Phase 3 - Started Feb 2009

This is the real meat and potatoes of the program - if you made it this far you are feeling like a machine, you are getting totally ripped, and your reps are probably near double the first phase. It was about half way through phase two that I no longer used the chair to get reps in the chin ups - I was now strong enough to do at least 8 reps each set without failing and without a chair to support. In phase three my diet became a little unstructured again but not nearly the same as round one.

At this point my serving job was reduced to Thur-Sun and I no longer worked Volume shifts (Usually an 8-10 hour day with no breaks and very little food). My calories varied daily but I continued to eat clean (No Soda, No Fries, Low Fat, No Hydrogenated products, No Enriched products, etc.) The only thing I think I could really improve here is drinking more water. Some days I do great and other days I will only consume a couple glasses. But overall the diet was fine and within reason. I did end up with the flu in Week 11 and my progress was stumped. I took 3 workouts off during that week, When I was better I decided to just continue on the scheduled workout instead of pushing my journey. This was no little sinus cold - I suffered from complete body ache and literally couldn't turn my head because my neck was so stiff and incredibly sore. I slept for almost three days but once I recovered enough I jumped back in.

Though my diet was a little unstructured, I had the flu for a week, and my motivation was a little low I still kept pushing play when I could. Now here I am, day 90 and done the journey. My friends it was a beautiful ride and I am incredibly happy that I stuck through it.

Conclusion:

P90X (PX90) is exactly what it claims to be - If you like a good challenge you will find it here. Though P90X IS Intense it allows even the beginner to modify and adjust each move so that it can be completed. Tony does a great job at motivating and several times I find myself laughing at his dry sense of humor. I don't know, he reminds me a little of my dad, the same kind of jokes. The Muscle Confusion works - You are constantly challenged and never get the chance to plateau. I just love how P90X often uses plain and simple but proven moves to get you in shape and get you ripped.

The very first workout (Chest and Back) you do an hours worth of Push ups and Chin ups - Nothing complicated - No special machines - No fancy equipment. It's just your body, your will, and P90X. Bring it! That is why I am so in love with P90X, It's real, It's challenging, and it works. So as I said at the beginning - "It's like a Magic Mirror". 90 Days ago I looked in the mirror and saw what I wanted in 90 days, I envisioned my new body. Now I am here - I just brought it every day as much as I could and suddenly it's like "Magic" and I am here! I got the results I wanted, I am in killer shape, I am ripped, and I am so ready for more!

P90X isn't just something you do for 90 days, P90X or PX90 as some call is a lifestyle, it's a mind set that You Can Achieve Anything if you Just "Push Play"! Your new body will give you a new lease on life - The key to getting there though is to truly be happy with yourself right now. No matter who you are, whether you think you are a failure or not. You are Life, you are Conscious, You are Beautiful and Unique. So accept yourself, accept your new lifestyle, and Look in Your Magic Mirror.

To Your Success.

And Finally:

I told you at the beginning that I would tell you my new found "Purpose in life". It is very simple, I have found that helping others achieve their fitness and personal goals is as important as my own. You can't live your life by yourself, it's the people I met and the leaders I networked with that gave me the strength to lead and share with others. It is my new purpose to grow myself everyday and share that growth with others. Some have difficulty finding the will to push forward, I want to be that little shove that gets them in motion. You are truly able to manifest anythingyou believe in.

It is no joke or myth that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. We are very powerful and conscious beings, sharing life energy every day with each other, some realize this and others don't. I wish to help you help yourself, I don't wish to do thing's for people because that is not helping - My purpose is to awaken your inner being to life. Death is the ultimate teacher of Life - Imagine you had but just 60 seconds left to live. Ask yourself this - What would you do? If you can say honestly that you would simply love every moment of those mere seconds than you are truly on a path towards enlightenment.

Simply live and love every moment of every day, I can honestly find beauty in a single leaf on a tree, or a blade of grass, My purpose is to share this gift with others. It is a beautiful journey that we all poses - In the past I have been deeply lost within myself and my emotions, I had spent months of my life in utter depression and no will to live. Through it all I awakened and realize the beauty of every moment that I live. The purpose to life is not money, possessions, experiences, or anything fancy. The secret to life is realizing you are alive within and sharing this gift with others.

This is it - The End of the Beginning! This could be considered the ultimate update, perhaps the most important update I've ever made. This is my day 90!

Though I don't dance or do anything special like that, I do talk about my journey and where I am going from here - Check it out!

So I'm long winded and overly excited to be at Day 90! Here is the second half of my P90X (or PX90 as dyslexics like to call it) update.

The second most important update I have ever made! :)

P.S. Expect a full written review breaking down each phase through coming tomorrow - March 10th. I have nearly completed writing but I want to make sure it's comprehensive and full of value - Stay Tuned!

aka BetterBody90

1/2 the Journey - There is no time better to Push Play!

I'm nearly there - Just a couple more days and I will have made it 1/2 of the way through P90X! What an amazing ride it has been, my life has completely changed, I'm in better shape than ever, I have greater endurance, I kick higher, I do pull-ups without a chair, and its only going to get better!
One day I simply had enough, I could'nt stand to look at myself in the mirror and make excuses anymore! I knew it was time for change and I was ready. You can do the same!

Latest Vlog - Ab Ripper X and Kenpo - Week 6 Day 41:

It gets better!

I was talking to a friend last night about habits or routines. That when starting out the first two weeks will make or break you. I see this in my life all the time and i've observed it in others as well. My theory is - If you can make it through the first two weeks and stick to your goals then you have completed all the hard work - Not just physically but also emotionally. In P90X the first two weeks are crucial! You will feel a lot of pain (good pain), you will be dissapointed with your numbers, you may even get nauteous during some workouts. Don't make yourself sick but keep going! You know what your body is saying so if something is hurting you then find a different way - But don't just give up!

Swallow your pride and do what works!!

Week 1 and week 2 will be the hardest but just set your goals on the big picture - I promise it gets easier as long as you stick to it!
Make sure you don't set your goals on the mind-set that you will lose 50 lbs or that you will do 100 pull ups in the first week or two. It's not going to happen unless your in incredible shape to start.
You know when I started I could hardly do 2 pull ups - Now in week 6 I can do 10-15 depending on which move.

So stick to it my friends - Your Health and Fitness dreams are just 90 days away with a lifetime to live!

Feel the burn!

I have just completed Ab Ripper X as well as Chest/Shoulders/Triceps - What a rush. My cold didn't hold me back! I may not be able to breath out my nose but that doesn't stop me from Bringing it! Keep that in mind for yourself - There is no good excuse unless you're otherwise injured or deathly ill. Don't let a little something get in your way towards Success!

I did a quick Vblog to compliment this post - Without further delay:

P.S.

I thought it would be good to add a little note. I was just thinking the other day about how crazy it was for me to finish Ab Ripper X AND a main set in one day. It didn't matter how much time in between, that crap use to kill me! Now on week 6 it's a walk in the park - I wanted to leave you with this thought.
Keep going, it only gets easier - What you couldn't do in Week 1 and Week 2 will be cake in Week 4 and Week 5. I just can't imagine week 12+!

P.S.S.

If you like what you see here make sure and click to follow my blog! You can do this on the right hand side under the "Follow" section. Thanks a bunch and don't forget to comment! =)

Keep Pushing Play

X Time!

I'm feeling a little under the weather.

Sadly I have come down with a cold, so far my sinuses have all but closed off and my throat has been rather sore. It all came on out of no where - I went to bed Sunday night feeling fine, woke up around 3 am randomly and noticed my throat was pretty sore, from that point on it's been settling in.

No Stretch X for me

With that said I want to let you know that even though I had high hopes of completing Stretch X I did not do it. I decided a day of rest would benefit me much more. My recovery time has been longer since I have come down sick, my energy levels just plain suck, and my motivation is teetering on the edge.

I will not give in though, today is Ab X and Shoulders/ Arms - I think it will feel great to complete these workouts! I know I won't have 110% to bring but I am going to bring all that I have. I will do my best to forget how I feel and put myself in the moment of how I Want to feel!

Do what you can - Bring what you can - Just do it!

I will be updating in a couple hours after I complete my workouts - I have to wait another hour or so as I ate not to long ago. I will be including a Vblog update and also a new video project I am working on to incorporate my P90X and Marketing efforts into one.

I want to give a quick preview of what you can expect from my new project!

  • Find ways to lose weight and mix up your new diet!
  • Learn a new healthy meal or recipe
  • Gain value in your personal and business developement
  • Learn about marketing news, strategies, and resources
  • etc.

Stay tuned...

I woke up last night with a sore throat.

I was a little scared this could turn into a cold or something unpleasant. the day has gone on and I feel fine, I'm not sure what the issue is but I think it's just a small bug. I'll keep you posted but I think I'm going to kick whatever this is in the next 24 hours!

Kenpo X - Day 34

I did my Kenpo X last night around 8 p.m. - I want to note that I had a very hard time getting my heart rate up to my target zone. I was hitting hard, I was kicking hard, I was moving and grooving - I don't really know what was up?

I actually started to go faster than the video pace when each set came up. I've done it enough times to know most of the moves so I just use the video as a fall back. Now this is only with Kenpo - The other workouts still keep me guessing and I like to use the video pace, especially in the resistance training.

I calculated my BPM (Beats per Minute) last night at each break and this is what I got.

  • Break 1 - 140
  • Break 2 - 148
  • Break 3 - 152
  • Break 4 - 136
My final rate was 160 right at the very end (From 4:20-4:05 remaining in the video)

I hit vertical punches at full speed right from the start - Instead of starting out slow.

Here is my Kenpo Day 34 afterthoughts:

Day 35 - Rest

So far today has been about rest and personal developement. I made a new content video explaining my morning/afternoon protein shake for those that were wondering. I'm going to make a new post dedicated to this new video. In the mean time I will be doing X stretch tonight before bed, that should be a relaxing end to my day.

Stay tuned

Real quick - I have to leave for Red Robin in 5 minutes!

I just completed day 33! So far everything is amazing, I feel better and better each day. In phase two I've really picked up the effort with a big concentration on diet and form. I've been doing my workouts in the early A.M. now as that will make sure I get them done - and it doesn't hurt to have the after workout euphoria for the day :).

New Protein Shake!

I've added an incredible protein shake to my daily workouts and i'll be sharing that recipe with you in my next post! Just a small preview - This shake has OVER 50g of protein by itself; What a great way to get your required protein intake!

X Time!

Stay tuned...

*Update

I wanted to make a quick update to let you know I completed Legs and Back as well as Ab X. I continue to start with Ab X and then follow directly witht he main set of the day - This is working very well for me. I want to note that this was difficult in the first week or two, but now that I am in week 5 it's much, much, MUCH Easier!

Day 30 P90X Review

Here it is folks - 30 days into the program doing 90% of the workouts. I did miss 3 workouts in the fourth week as I mentioned in my updates. Not bad though!

In a moment I am going to unveil my 30 day Measurements and Photos...

Now keep in mind my diet and nutrition plan was only coming together in the first two weeks. I didn't start Whey Protein and Creatine Supplimenting until the third and fourth week. I think you will notice more drastic changes in the weeks to come. My diet has become stronger and my protein intake has increased immensly. I consume roughly 140-160 Grams of protein a day.

The general rule is 1G per 1LB that you weigh: I weight ~150LB - Get it?

My workouts are getting stronger and stronger. The first two weeks, besides the pain, I found myself struggling to complete each set. At points burning out before I could actually follow through. Now I find myself pumping through the workouts with energy left to spare, I try my best to deplete every ounce of energy I have but I just want more!

I did Plyometrics today for day 30 in Phase two. That had to be the best Plyo I have ever done. Obviously that would be the case since I've been working out regularly but I just needed to mention how much I kicked It's butt. The first couple times I could hardly stand for that matter jump. Now I find myself doing 360 degree jumps in the 180's, doing double speed jump knee tucks, and best of all I don't get nauteious anymore! The first couple times left me wondering if my lunch would come back up!

P90X IS THE REAL DEAL!

If you're looking to get in the best shape of your life, don't hesitate a second longer!
I'm not here to sell you on the product but I am here to tell you that IT WORKS. I'm only 30 days into my journey and I can tell you now that come day 60, let alone day 90, I'm going to be mean, ripped, and ready to kick some $&* for P90X+ Round 2!

I can't wait to take all my efforts, my numebrs, my struggles, etc. and
turn that into some serious coaching benefits for those just getting started. I will be here for
you
every step of the way. I can't explain how much this system will kick your butt but leave you asking for More and More and More.

Don't wait around folks, step up and push play! The only way you are going to get results is if you do the work. I'm not saying just poke around - I mean you have to work hard!

If you are not serious and ready to change your life then please - Don't waste your time!

But if you are ready to say "Yes! Bring it on" Then by all means get moving and get to the WOWY Gym Now!

Now i'm sure you are ready to see some numbers and some pictures - Hold on one more second.

Keep in mind again that the first couple weeks were simply getting attuned, getting adjusted, getting into the proper mindset. Phase 2 is where the real action comes. Now my body is ready to go and in pretty Damn good shape. I didn't notice huge physical changes, I mean I wasn't hugely over weight to start. But what I have noticed is the energy levels. The ability to bring it more and more. The overall spirit of change and readiness to improve myself beyond the limits. You Will get this too.

Make it through the first week and you've done something Magicical. You will be very sore but JUST KEEP GOING! Keep Pushing play. I don't care if it hurts, it's going to! Just do your best, as long as you bring 110% every workout You Will See Results. Best of all You Will Feel the Results!

I was rather happy with what I saw. My main goal in phase one was to drop some of those love handles, get rid of that beer fat layer, and start to get ripped. Well it's a work in progress but look closely and You Can definitely see some changes. I'm not going to say where I see the changes because I want to hear it from you. Afterall, you are Your Own Worst Critic! So I may misjudge myself.

Comment and tell me what you think!

Ok, I just wanted to make a quick update right now - Expect a full 30 day review complete with pictures, comments, perhaps a video, etc. later tonight!

I completed Ab X and Shoulders/Back/Triceps last night. I started around 7:30 p.m. and completed near 9 p.m. I had just enough time to spare before joining a Scheduled Webinar for my Online Business Endeavors -But that's a whole separate blog! (Check it out... http://jasoncroxford.blogspot.com )

Wow! The work outs went very smooth and I brought it hard. Ab X couldn't keep up with Me. Well maybe that's a slight exaggeration but it was a million times easier than day one!
Nothing new to report expect the fact I can really feel Ab X working. I'm so much stronger in the core and have no problem bringing it! I completed the ENTIRE Mason Twist routine without putting my feet down! I think that's a first. Usually I end up breaking half way through or crossing my feet to keep my legs up - But not anymore!

Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps:

I absolutely Love this video. Its nitty-gritty and really makes you work. There are no repeat exercises, you just pump one out after the other. *You don't use a chin-up bar at all in this one! It's plain and simple resistance training with and without weight. I did find that I need to invest in some 5 lb weights for the weighted circles - Yeah Yeah Yeah you thinking 5lbs, what a pansy! Well folks it's all about Perfect Form and Doing Your Best. If your just getting back into physical fitness after years off like me then you will know exactly what I mean when you try that set!

As I type this update I want to note how sore I am! No, not a bad sore - But a really good sore! I feel very accomplished and burnt though I still have yet to do Plyometrics today.

*Wow it is note worthy to say - Though this has no relevance to my update - It just got very dark here at my computer. I love Florida for the bright sunshine and then Sudden switch to black rainy clouds out of Nowhere!

Looks like We're in for a storm!

Stay tuned for my Complete 30 Day Review tonight!

This Just In! New update Available: =0

I know my updates have been few and far between recently, actually more over just this past week! I am in Phase 1 Week 4 Day 28 as I write this. Phase 2 Starts Very Very soon and I am so ready to Bring It!

I'm going to give you a quick run down from this past week, more as a time line just so you can see what I did. I failed to follow through with my daily workouts, Yes I am human ;). The following is what Week 4 is all about and following that I will show you what I actually did:

1. Yoga X ... Completed!
2. Core Syn ... Completed though barely!
3. Kenpo X ... Failed, No workout
4. X Stretch ... Failed, No workout
5. Core Syn ... Failed ... Completed Kenpo X Instead
6. Yoga X ... Failed, No workout
7. X Stretch OR Rest ... Completed Core Syn AND Will Do Yoga X

So as you can see I've missed 2 X Stretches but that's better than nothing! Work really drained me this last week - Physically AND Emotionally. But it's alright, I've got a new lease on Life and I'm ready to go in Phase 2!

** I want to take a quick moment and Thank those who have commented my videos and my Blog - It's you that make me stay motivated and I appreciate your time to follow along!

Core Synergistics - Round 2:

"Set a goal to Achieve and your doing good - Set a Goal to Break and your becoming a Super-Star!"

Today went very well - So far! I woke up around 8 in the morning after about 10 hours of really good sleep. I cooked some breakfast which consisted of 1/2 cup of Egg Beater Whites and 3 slices of Lean Turkey. I complimented that with a slice of Whole Wheat Toast topped with Fat Free Cream Cheese (Yes, it sounds Nasty!) and about 2 Table Spoons of Natural Creamy Peanut Butter! Mm mm I LOVE Breakfast! I also drank about 16 oz of water and have an Espresso coffee to boot! Now, I'm zinging around ready to go. =)

After Breakfast I like to wait about 1-2 hours before I go at it, otherwise I find myself getting nauseous and that's just not fun. I hit Core Synergistics with 150% and I definitely saw improvement over round One. I didn't really keep any numbers which I'm sorry for but that will change for future Core workouts! I followed through with every set and pushed hard - I was breathing Wicked (Yeah I'm from Maine originally!) hard on the plank to chatarunga ISO and Walking Push ups.

That's about all I can think of to report so far...

Stay tuned for my Yoga X update by tonight, I promise. I Guarantee Even! =)
